Online Bingo Halls In 2012
November 15, 2011
Chances are you have been disappointed routinely when you have really looked forward to your weekly bingo night only to find it postponed. Well, that could have been in the past, since with the advent of the online bingo halls, gone are those days of overwhelming anticipation, and the occasional disappointments. Bingo is arguably one of the best and most popular games due to the fact that it is entertaining as it is educative. Most people, the young and old alike, find bingo totally exhilarating.
Advantages of Online Bingo Halls
There is little doubt that Bingo is among the oldest games that have endured the test of time and came out better and more popular. Traditionally, bingo halls were the venues where one could play this game. However, there were two major inconveniences that the online bingo halls have effectively addressed. First, you had to be a part of the Bingo club, and secondly, these local bingo halls had limit and most people would visit them weekly. Apart from these, the online bingo halls have the following added benefits:
• You can play Bingo whenever you want- unlike in the traditional bingo games, you have the convenience of playing Bingo right from the comfort of the hall, and at anytime of the day/night. The online bingo halls use the internet that runs 24/7.
• Diversity- playing online gives you the chance to interact with new bingo buddies from all corners of this globe. The online halls offer this limitless capacity, and unlike the traditional halls, you won’t be required to purchase bingo tickets prior to the game.
• Online bingo clubs gives you better chances of hitting higher jackpot amount every time you play. This is partly due to the large number of players found on the online platform, unlike in the traditional setting.
Popular Online Bingo Halls
Actually, not so many people have played in the online bingo halls due to conservatism and fear of the unknown. However, it should be noted that only the platform changes, but the Bingo game plus its rules remain unchanged. All popular online Bingo rooms are user friendly and you can be assured that you will be receiving the best bonuses available when you play in these rooms.
• The Vic’s Bingo Hall
The terms are plain simple. You will enjoy excellent customer services on top of their vast community of bingo players. The user-friendliness extends beyond the obvious to even cater for your everyday needs.
• Gina Bingo
Here you can even play bingo from the comfort of your home as long as your account is active and you have internet connection. The environment is safe and conducive, and you will share in their solid reputation having hosted online bingo games for more than a decade.
These are just a tip of the iceberg. The new concept being adopted by majority of these halls is allowing bingo players to access their accounts right from their homes as long as they are connected. You will find sites where you can register after fulfilling the requirements, and start your online Bingo experience.
Funding your account is one of the primary differences between the traditional and online halls. You can fund your account using online methods such as Visa and MasterCard. Once you are set, follow the rules, unleash your gaming prowess and continue collecting your winnings online.

Basketball Sportsbooks – Online NBA Bookmakers
September 2, 2011
Not all online sportsbooks should be judged equal in regards to their basketball betting options. Some bookmakers only offer a few spread bets for NBA games and nothing for NCAA college basketball. A few European sports books only take wagers on FIBA basketball games, the NBA’s counterpart in the EU. There are three things a sports book has to offer in order to qualify as an excellent sportsbook for basketball betting:
- NBA betting
- College basketball betting
- FIBA basketball betting
Only a few serious bookmakers can claim to offer action on all three of the major basketball leagues. Just offering lines on these leagues is only half the battle though. If they only offer some basic spreads it isn’t good enough in my book. They need to offer competitive moneylines, over/unders, prop bets, futures, teasers and pointspreads. They need to offer better lines than everyone else.
In 2011 only three sports books can claim to offer all of these things and more. Here is a list of the best sports books for basketball:
- BetOnline
- Bet365
- Bodog
These three Internet sportsbooks all share on thing in common. They all offer the new in-play betting platform. In-play betting allows you to make real time prop bets on a wide range of outcomes.
You basically watch the game through their in-game platform and they will offer action on things like:
- Who will score the next basket.
- Which team will get the next 3 pointer
- Which team will get the next foul
These types of wagers cannot be offered through a regular sports book platform. I like to go through the odds and find the really juicy action. The bookmakers have to come up with these bets quickly and they make mistakes sometimes. You can win a lot of money at any of these sportsbook just by watching the in-play action.

PokerView – Webcam Poker
June 19, 2011
Technology is always changing. Pokerview is an online poker room that hav embraced technology to offer something that poker players have been dreaming about for a long time; webcam poker. If you can chat with a hot chick that you met on Facebook on a webcam, you can certainly play poker on a webcam. Pokerview has overcome the many obstacles that are inherent with this type of service. This Pokerview review will take a look at their webcam poker service and their first deposit bonus.
Pokerview Deposit Bonus
All new players at Pokerview will receive a 100% match bonus up to $600. the Pokerview bonus differs from others because of the low playthrough requirements. You just need to earn 15 PokerPoints for every $1 in bonus money. Use the Pokerview bonus code BONUS600 to claim this bonus.
Pokerview – The Webcam Poker Tables
After you have made your deposit you will get to choose between a free webcam or a t-shirt. Only players that do not currently own a webcam choose the t-shirt. The webcam tables at Pokerview allow you to do things that are not possible at other rooms.
You can study the competition and find their tells. Maybe pokerguy77 looks away from the camera every time he bluffs. Maybe xXPokerSharkXx is very talkative when he has a good hand. Maybe Pokergirl1984 likes to flirt when she wants you to call. It can be just about anything but if you can figure out the patterns you can increase the likelyhood of having a winning session.
Webcam poker is about more than just looking for tells. You might be too busy socializing to look for them. Poker View offers a very social atmosphere. Online poker has never been more entertaining than it is when you can see and chat with the other players. Regular online poker rooms offer generic chatboxes and people tend to only use them to throw around insults.
At PokerView you can have a conversation with a guy that lives 20 minutes away from you or a girl that lives half-way around the world. There is a tight knit community at PokerView. It will change the way you think about online poker. Other poker sites offer “community-like” atmospheres but nothing that comes close to what you will find at the webcam poker tables at Pokerview.
Win A Free iPad At PokerView
There are several VIP levels at Pokerview and each one has a prize. These prizes range from e-books to iPads. You claim these prizes by earning PokerPoints at the webcam and regular tables. This promotion ends onthe last day of July, 2011, so you better signup now and start earnings points.

A Guide To The Pokerview Poker Room
June 15, 2011
Pokerview, a U.S. poker room, is offering certain players a huge first deposit bonus. This bonus goes beyond just offering some extra money. The money aspect of Pokerview’s bonus package is certainly the main attraction but the other perks are also very cool. Here is a breakdown of the bonus package you will receive when you use the PokerView bonus code PNREPORT:
1. 100% bonus up to $600 – This bonus will be paid in 20 installments, which are 5% increments. That means you will receive installments that are in-line with the amount you deposited. A $100 bonus will be paid in $5 increments and a $600 bonus will be paid in $30 installments. To clear the entire bonus at Pokerview you will need to earn 100 PokerPoints/$1. PokerView distributes more PokerPoints per hand than most online poker rooms so if this seems like a lot, it really isn’t
2. Free Gift – New depositors at Pokerview will receive a thank you gift after making a deposit. You can choose between a free webcam or a Pokerview t-shirt. Most players take the webcam. The webcam is sent to you via the mail. It isn’t a cheap webcam either; it is one of the latest HQ cams.
Why a webcam? Pokerview’s software supports webcam poker tables. This new concept has really changed the way many people play poker online. There is definitely a big improvement in the social atmosphere at the table. Most online poker players only communicate via the chat box when they want to insult someone (fish, donkey..ect). The friendly environment at Pokerview’s web cam poker tables is similar to that of a family card game.
PokerView Promotions – More Free Gifts
Pokerview’s main goal is to provide the best poker experience possible. They have done a wonderful job creating promotions that are accessible to everyone. There are four levels in the Poker View loyalty program. Each level comes with a cool prize. You do not even have to play for cash to win these prizes, they are based on practice or play money chips and the number of hands you have played. Here is an overview of what they are offering at each level:
1. Pokerview Grinder - This is the first and easiest level. The focus here is to get people used to playing webcam poker and to increase everyone’s skill level. When you have reached 50,000 practice chips and have played a total of 500 hands Pokerview will send you an e-Book with the top poker strategies.
2. Pokerview Ace - This level requires 100,000 practice chips and 5,000 hands. Most players will not have any trouble reaching the Ace level within a week or two. This levels prize is a brand new pair of Sony headphones. I’m not talking about the cheap airbuds, I’m talking about the big headphones that provide much more quality. They may be oldschool but they work better and are more comfortable.
3. Pokerview Expert – Pokerview is giving Expert level players a free iPod! To claim this prize you need to win 500,000 practice chips and to have played 25,000 hands.
4. Pokerview Pro – Becoming a PokerView Pro is the ultimate objective for all players. This is the top of the food chain and the prize is unbelievable. They will give you a brand new iPad when you reach this level. You will need to hit 1,000,000 practice chips. These play money chips do not cost you anything so it is not a matter of “if” you will get an iPad, it is a matter of “when”. You have to play 100,000 hands at Pokerview to qualify for this.

Lock Poker – What’s The Big Deal?
June 4, 2011
Many of you probably never heard of Lock Poker a few months ago they are on everyone’s minds these days. Lock Poker is on the Merge Network but they are one of those rare skins that offer much more than everyone else. They could have saved a few bucks and offered the network’s generic bonuses and promotions. The people behind Lock Poker would have none of that though. When I think of Lock Poker I picture a supercharged V8 engine installed in a Ford Tempo.
I don’t say that because Lock Poker’s software or network is terrible. They are just so much better than the other rooms on their network. They are much more than a 2-3 person company that invested just enough money to get on the network. Lock Poker has the employees and financial backing of a medium sized independent room so calling them a “skin” just doesn’t sit well with me.
As a Lock Poker player you will notice this difference when you make your first deposit. Players that use the Lock Poker bonus code PNREPORT will receive:
- 150% match bonus up to $750
There are also some freeroll entries available to new depositors but let’s just look at the actual bonus for now. Carbon Poker is the Merge Network’s “flagship” room but they only offer a 100% up to $600 bonus. The size of the bonus does not exactly mean that Lock Poker is better than the rest though so let’s keep going.
Lock Poker just completed the Ronin Rake Chase. This promotion awarded $500,000 in cash to 1,400 lucky players as well as a seat to the WSOP Main Event. This was a massive promo for a “skin”. This is something you would expect to find at Party Poker or Pokerstars.
Let’s take a look at Carbon Poker’s special promotion for June. I’m looking right now and I only see ongoing promotions like a SNG leaderboard and a refer-a-friend bonus. These are the standard network promotions and Lock Poker offers them as well.
Lock Poker has exceeded the top rooms on the Merge Network in virtually every way. If they had their own software I would be willing to bet money on them making the top 5 online poker rooms, in terms of traffic, within 18 months. I’m sure they won’t be a skin forever though. The recent online poker upheavals certainly put them back a little.
Their recent $500,000 rake race is a great example why Lock Poker is special. All of the other poker rooms are scaling back their promotions and bonuses. They want to wait things out and see how the events of Black Friday play out. They are playing it safe and Lock Poker is investing half a million dollars into their players.
They want their players to be happy. They want their players to know that they are willing to roll the dice for them while everyone else is hedging their bets and limiting their risk.

How Online Gambling Site Bonuses Work
February 13, 2011
If you have ever been to a brick and mortar casino you probably have received some form of comp. I visit my local casino when I feel the gambling itch and I usually receive something in the mail the next week. They offer free hotel rooms, free dinners, free cash and allow me to turn in the points I earn at the tables and machines for even more cash. Sounds pretty nice huh?
Those perks pale in comparison to the websites with the top online gambling loyalty programs. Online gambling sites offer many more incentives to the casual player. Online poker rooms and casinos are especially good at this. All of the major gambling sites online offer something akin to comps, only on a much larger scale. They also offer something that no live casino does: deposit bonuses.
If you bring $500 with you to a casino you will have $500 in which to gamble with. If you deposit $500 at an online poker room for instance you will have the $500 plus an additional $500. You will have to clear most gambling bonuses but it usually doesn’t take long. The websites with the best online gambling bonuses will credit the deposit bonus in scmall increments.
Many gaming sites also offer re-load bonuses. These bonuses are on top of the cash credits, frequent player points, freerolls and the other major aspects of a VIP or loyalty program.
You have to read the fine print though. This applies to online casinos more than poker rooms because many casinos give you the full bonus upfront and will not allow you to cash any of it out unless you have met the requirements.
They do not do this in hopes that you will lose it all or some other shady reason. Anytime there is money involved in something there will always be scammers. Bonus whores are people who try to game the system and take advantage of these bonuses.
The same can be true for gambling companies. Some bonuses are designed to make it virtually impossible to clear them. If you stick to the mainstream poker sites, casinos, bingo rooms and sports books you will not have any trouble. You should always read the fine print before you enter a bonus code at any type of internet gambling site. Most simply want to offer players a reward for choosing to ply with them and protect themselves from scammers at the same time.
Understand how the bonus works before you start playing. Contact customer support and have them explain it to you if you have to. When I first started gambling online I won quite a bit at an online casino. When I tried to cash it out I found out that I was only half way through the requirements. I decided to play games like Blackjack and Roulette to wager as much as possible without risking much. Casino managers are smarter than me though. Even money (almost) games like those do not count towards clearing bonuses at online casinos. So the moral of the story is to research a bonus before you claim it.

Poker4ever.com – A small poker room for US players
December 19, 2010
I like to play at small poker rooms. I usually play at rooms on the Merge network but last week I decided to give a new network a try. It’s been years since I even thought of the Everleaf network but when I signed up at one of their US poker rooms I was pretty surprised at the value they offered. Poker4ever.com is not exactly new but they might as well be. Traffic ranges around 5,000 players and only around 10% of those are real money players.
I was so impressed I created a website specifically about poker4ever.com: poker4ever.org. This site features a review, bonus code page, rake race page and freeroll page.
They offer three types of rake races and 3 types of freerolls. The freerolls include a $1,000 new depositor freeroll. They also run 2 daily $50 freerolls that are open to all and two that cost 25 PokerPoints to enter. It’s not much but if you want to turn a very small deposit (or no deposit) into a playable bankroll it’s more than enough.
The rake races add up to $2,500 in jackpots. Their main race has a $2,000 jackpot and is run monthly. I don’t have the time to really compete in this one. I bet I could come close playing 5-10 hours a week though considering the low number of RM players.
The rake race I am expecting to win is the $250 Omaha race. There is only a real money Omaha table active around 10% of the time and the race pays out to the top 5 so I don’t see how I can lose. If you want to signup follow these directions:
- Visit Poker4ever.com
- If it’s not already filled out for you enter the Poker4ever.com special bonus code P4E2011.
- Read this poker4ever.com review for additional info.

How To Play 7 Card Stud Poker
December 12, 2010
7 Card Stud is a simple game to play, but a hard game to master. While it is not nearly as popular (or commercial) as Texas Hold’em these days, it still has a good following and is considered one of the more difficult variants of poker. The rules for 7 card stud are very similar to that of 7 card stud 8b or razz so be sure you are playing at the right table. I’ve gotten the 7 card stud games mixed up one more than one occasion and it costed me a lot of money.
1. All the players ante up before any cards are dealt (the ante is usually set at 10% of the betting limits, i.e. a $5/$10 game would have a 50 cent antes) determined by the table rate. Some us poker rooms use different ante formulas than non-US rooms for 7 stud poker so this is not a universal guide.
2. All players are dealt three cards, two face down and one face up. The first face-up card is known as the ‘door card’ or ‘Third Street’.
3. A round of betting takes place. In most cases the person with the lowest ‘door card’ bets first (in some poker rooms the highest ‘door card’ player bets in a pot limit game), this is mandatory and is referred to as the ‘bring-in bet’.
4. All players are dealt another face-up card (known as ‘Fourth Street’).
5. Another round of betting takes place.
6. All players are dealt another face-up card (known as ‘Fifth Street’).
7. Another round of betting takes place, but with the betting amount raised.
8. All players are dealt another face-up card (known as ‘Sixth Street’).
9. Another round of betting takes place at the same level as in the Fifth Street round.
10. One last card is dealt face down (known as the ‘River Card’ or ‘Seventh Street’).
11. The final betting takes place.
After betting, the hands are called and the player with the best five card hand wins the pot. Note that although you are dealt seven cards in total, only your best five cards are played.

Party Poker In 2011
December 6, 2010
Party Poker is one of the first and by far the most popular online poker room around. With tens of thousands of active, real money players at any given time, massive tournaments, very fast cashouts and a shared network with Empire Poker, there’s a good reason for it too. This is an excellent to play the stud poker games.
- Read our Party Poker review for more info.
Some of the great things about Party Poker include not having to wait to find players on just about any table, no matter what limits or game you’re looking for. While the software doesn’t offer the most attractive presentation, it’s more than adequate for the task at hand, and has good sorting features and table details. You’ll find a full suite of games here with the exception of 5 card stud, offered in all kinds of ranges and limits.
Party also offers very generous bonuses, and massive tournaments such as the 2011 Party Poker millions that aren’t offered at Empire Poker (which shares the same tables with the exception of some tournaments). There are a wide variety of depositing options for players, so it’s also a great place for people having credit card deposit issues to play. All in all, worthy of it’s popularity, but could use a facelift aesthetically.
20% first deposit bonus for new players.
Offers the following games:
- Texas Hold’em
- Omaha Hi
- Omaha H/L
- 7 Stud
- 7 Stud H/L

Who plays slot machines online?
November 17, 2010
I was looking for a new gambling game online and a friend of mine suggested that I try online slot machines since I was looking for something new. The choices seem endless when it comes to betting limits and themes. The penny slots seem to be the place for the beginner so they can understand the game, and practice with small money. The more lines you place before you spin is also a big part in winning as well. Penny slots won’t pay off as well as you would like if you are just going straight across. Placing multiple lines will help increase your odds of winning. Aliens, dragons, and pirates are just a few of the online slot machine themes that I have played. My personal favorite online slot machines are Jungle Boogie and Little Chicken. The jackpots aren’t the largest, but the graphics and the action make them fun to play for hours. So if you find yourself tired of the poker circut, try online slot machines and you will be glad you did!
